چکیده
355 Background: We aimed to develop and validate a multi-institutional nomogram of outcomes for PSMA-PET based salvage radiotherapy (sRT) following radical prostatectomy (RP) patients with recurrent or persistent prostate cancer (PCa). Methods: Data from detectable post-RP prostate-specific antigen (PSA) treated sRT without concurrent androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT) were obtained 11 academic institutions 5 countries. All had scan prior distant metastases on PET excluded this analysis. The freedom biochemical failure (FFBF) rate was estimated, predictive generated validated. Biochemical relapse (BR) defined as PSA nadir +0.2 ng/ml after sRT. Results: Overall, 1029 (training set n=821, external validation n=208) median follow-up 33 months included. On PSMA-PET, 427 (42%) 313 (30%) local nodal recurrences, respectively. Elective pelvic lymphatics irradiated in 368 (36%) patients. received the prostatic fossa receiving dose <66 Gy, 66-70 Gy >70 103 (10%), 551 (54%) 375 patients, Androgen deprivation given 325 (32%) multivariable Cox regression analysis, pre-SRT PSA, ISUP grade, pT stage, surgical margins, ADT use, recurrence PSMA associated FFBF. concordance index 0.7 FFBF validation. Conclusions: present an externally validated contemporary which can estimate individual patient guided Positive lymph nodes seem be new risk factor BR

Salvage radiotherapy for recurrent prostate cancer after radical prostatectomy.
CONTEXT Salvage radiotherapy may potentially cure patients with disease recurrence after radical prostatectomy, but previous evidence has suggested that it is ineffective in patients at the highest risk of metastatic disease progression. OBJECTIVE To delineate patients who may benefit from salvage radiotherapy for prostate cancer recurrence by identifying variables associated with a durable r...
متن کاملAdjuvant versus salvage radiotherapy in prostate cancer: multi-institutional retrospective analysis of the Spanish RECAP database.
PURPOSE To compare adjuvant radiotherapy (ART) to salvage radiotherapy (SRT) after radical prostatectomy (RP) in a cohort of prostate cancer (PCa) patients. The primary aim was to comparatively assess 2- and 5-year biochemical relapse-free survival (BRFS). A secondary aim was to identify predictors of survival. PATIENTS AND METHODS Data were acquired from the RECAP database, a population-base...

Potentially curative salvage options for radio-recurrent prostate cancer include prostatectomy, brachytherapy, high-intensity focused ultrasound, and cryotherapy. Salvage cryoablation technology, surgical technique, oncologic outcomes, and complication rates have improved dramatically over the past few decades, shifting this treatment modality from investigational status to an established thera...
متن کاملDevelopment and external validation of a prostate health index-based nomogram for predicting prostate cancer
To develop and externally validate a prostate health index (PHI)-based nomogram for predicting the presence of prostate cancer (PCa) at biopsy in Chinese men with prostate-specific antigen 4-10 ng/mL and normal digital rectal examination (DRE). 347 men were recruited from two hospitals between 2012 and 2014 to develop a PHI-based nomogram to predict PCa. To validate these results, we used a sep...
